Travels of Jim and Cathy Green

Saturday, July 09, 2005

We’re at the entrance to Glacier National Park, Listening to Prairie Home Companion on SIRIUS Satellite Radio, and enjoying the light rain that is falling, while we are making plans to return to the Bonners Ferry/Sand Point, ID, area. We’re thinking that may be the place to alight after our travels, so we’re going to look at real estate for a bit, while we experience the summer weather. And make plans for getting the car fixed. Seems the Antifreeze doesn’t like staying on the inside. I am guessing a water pump, since we have over 140,000 miles on it, but we’ll be taking it to the Dodge dealer in Bonners Ferry to see what they have to say. Good thing we don’t have to drive it to get it there…we’ll be heading there on Monday Morning. So stay tuned for further developments…

  • Hi Cathy and Jim,

How cool to have your own blog! Thanks for sharing this with me.

I hope all goes well with fixing the antifreeze problem.

And did I read this right? Are you actually going to settle down in Idaho??

  • We waited a couple of days to answer this, because we wanted to get it right! We were out looking at real estate, but nothing we saw "spoke to us" so we have concluded that it's not time to stop right now. We may end up here eventually, but not on this visit!
